“I had a three night stay at the Burstall Motel. I was pleasantly surprised at the size and comfort of the room, especially for such a small town. The room was clean and the shower had piping hot water with great pressure. Checking in was straight forward and the owner was polite and friendly. I had one small plumbing issue in my room which I brought to the attention of one of the owners who promptly came to my room and remedied the issue. All in all I have zero complaints about the motel and would gladly stay here again if I was in the area.”
“If you want small town rural hospitality this is the place to stay. Everybody’s really friendly. The motel was neat and tidy inside and out and like other reviewers said the staff is very friendly. Prices were reasonable and they were very accommodating of any requests that we had. two thumbs up for this motel”
“The highways closed, and we called the Burstall Motel asking if there was any availability; we had hit the ditch and had our dogs and nowhere to go. The owner was a saint! An animal lover himself, he said he had a space for us. The rooms were charming for a small town and clean, clean! We stayed in the two double beds room, and there was so much space, more significant than an average hotel room. There was a mini fridge, a coffee maker with all the fixings, and a spacious place to hang coats. 10/10 would recommend it!”
“Due to a work trip not going to plan, was forced to find accomodation last minute. Found this place. Very clean room, very quiet, and no smell of smokers. Bed was a little hard, and an extra pillow could have gone a long way, but was very reasonable for the price. After a certain hour, the whole town literally closes so be prepared. Get your dinner/snacks early or on the way. Once the town closes, you have no way to get anything. Minor Complaints: 1)could not figure out how to operate the heater. Even on low heat/cold temperature, it still made the whole room too hot. 2.)Cold water from bathroom tap didn't actually get too cold for drinking. I assume the pipes are heated to prevent freezing. Overall, the room did what it was supposed to: gave me a good place to sleep.”
“Well if I’m being honest I had very low expectations for this motel. To say the least it was very very clean, full sized fridge and didn’t have any unpleasant odours. Decent location if you’re working out here. Shevys restaurant has anything you could possibly want and is open early for all the shift workers. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly around here as well”
“Nice, clean, all the dishes a guy needs. Only complaints are, I wish they had a safe for valuables, there was an oven not just a cook top, and the fridge is "apartment sized". Staying for a week so need the extra amenities. Also $90 a night for those who were wondering, so reasonably cheap for a gas plant town.”
